NORTH PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MURAL

Located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago, North Park Elementary School sought both a fresh look for its playground-facing façade and thoughtful interior improvements to support its growing community.

The design concept aims to inspire children’s imaginations through playful shapes and vibrant color. Carefully composed to complement the geometry of existing doors and windows, the mural works in harmony with the historic brick coursing to create a lively yet refined backdrop for the school’s outdoor play and social space. In addition to the mural, the project included a new donor wall system with simple, expandable printed plaques. Interior renovations focused on improving the cafeteria, classrooms, and hallway storage areas—enhancing functionality, daylight, and overall experience for students and staff.
